Sament Group  implemented smoke and heat ventilation  systems for Kaufland Bulgaria since the very beginning of the company's operations in Bulgaria.

In 2024, Sament built the smoke and heat extraction systems in the event of a fire at Kaufland Central Halls and Kaufland Dianabad in Sofia.

Particularly interesting was the project with the reconstruction of the Central Halls, in which Sament built a system of Dynamic Curtains to limit the spread of smoke and combustion products and separate the smoke sections. Similar systems are available in the Trading hall as well as in the adjacent shops at level -1. Sament also supplied and installed the complete automation for controlling the curtains and the fresh air intake points to the smoke extraction system.

What is typical of the smoke exhaust systems of such facilities is that they are pneumatic, electrically controlled and have opaque, sandwich panel covers for better thermal insulation.
